Steven Frangos was born in Cleveland on 12-06-65 to parents Fouly and Michael Frangos. From a young age, Steve possessed a strong interest in automotive muscle, his first few cars as a young man were a 1968 Ford Mustang, 1969 Pontiac Firebird, and 1887 Z-28
In 1987 Steve graduated from Cleveland State University with degrees in Comprehensive Business, Project management, marketing, Hospitality management, and Entrepreneurship. Steve then turned his attention to the automotive industry, attending Ohio Diesel Tech. He completed his studies in 1989 with a degree/certification in Diesel, Automotive Excellence, Welding and Auto Body. North Coast Muscle car opened its doors in 1989 at Prentice Ct. in Cleveland, Ohio. The shop quickly picked up momentum – selling parts, providing mechanical services and restoring vehicles. Before they knew it, North Coast Muscle Car had earned a great reputation and became the go to shop for car enthusiasts. With a strong desire to expand, North Coast Auto Restoration moved to 3945 Church Street in Willoughby, Ohio. While selling parts and performing a wide array of mechanical and repair services – auto restoration was Steve’s true passion. Over the next 10 years, The company grew into a comprehensive, multi building facility, where several facets of the restoration process can happen simultaneously. With a good team in place, Steve continued to sharpen his skills and develop his artistic flair…. Word of mouth and customer referrals quickly picked up. Customers now seek out Steve’s expertise to transform their autos to their former beauty. In addition to restoring customers’ cars, Steve often locates, restores & sells his masterpieces to others who share in his passion. |
